About Royal Hold'em

Royal Hold'em is Texas Hold'em in an elegant casino. Take a seat at a table of green felt, mahogany and gold and play against 1 to 4 computer opponents. You only play with virtual coins. No real money is ever involved and you cannot win money.

Eight tables

You start with 1,000 coins in the Velvet Lounge. Win a table and the next one opens: Emerald Room, Sapphire Salon, Bordeaux Club, Riviera Terrace, Amethyst Suite, Onyx Private Room and finally The Royal Table. The higher the table, the bigger the buy-in and the smarter your opponents.

How to play

• Everyone starts with the same number of chips, paid for with the buy-in from your wallet.
• You get 2 cards of your own. Five shared cards come in the middle: the flop (3), the turn (1) and the river (1).
• After each round of cards you can fold, check, call or raise.
• The best five cards win the pot.
• The blinds go up every 7 hands. Win all the chips and you win the table.

Stars and coins

Win a table against 1 opponent for one star, against 2 or 3 for two stars and against 4 for three stars. You can always stand up from the pause menu and take your chips back to your wallet. Run out of coins and the casino gives you new ones.

The opponents

Among the players are cool Victor, daring Isabella, number cruncher Kenji, bluffer Lucien and patient Grace. Each has a style of their own: one loves to raise, another waits for good cards.

Controls

• F: fold, C or Space: check or call.
• R or Enter: bet or raise. ↑ ↓: change the amount. A: all-in.
• Esc: pause, M: music on or off.

Frequently asked questions

Can I win real money?

No. Royal Hold'em only uses virtual coins with no value. You cannot buy them or cash them in.

Why is the game 18+?

Under the European PEGI rules, games that simulate gambling, even with play money, are suitable for adults only.

What happens if I close the page during a table?

The chips you had at that moment go back into your wallet automatically next time.
